The application’s main window adopts a shelf-like interface, allowing for easy addition and removal of items. Several sample items are already included by default, providing an opportunity for experimentation before adding your own books.
To begin, you can create a database of authors to later assign them to respective e-books. The next step involves manually adding e-books by entering various details such as title, subtitle, publisher, edition, publishing date, language, format, and page count.
Alternatively, you have the option to scan a selected folder for e-book files (e.g., AZW, CBR, CBZ, DJVU, EPUB, HTML, MOBI, PDF, TXT, and more). Alfa eBooks Manager will then retrieve additional details like ISBN, covers, and table of contents. If desired, the program can also convert files to different formats.
Additionally, you can add an e-book by searching for it online. Alfa eBooks Manager allows you to select the platforms it should search, automatically retrieving all relevant information.
Apart from the aforementioned details, you can also assign additional data to your items. This includes entering the purchase price, weight, dimensions, as well as adding tags and genres.
